Birthday Cake and Volleyball
Lucy improved a ton over the season. So did the team. 2nd place!
Charlie apologized for his poor little brother moment with the cake.
Boys Weekend, Girls are at Disney
I got Charlie an ice cream cone a couple of nights. He had fun hauling branches I trimmed to the trailer. He loved hauling the big heady ones. He tried putting those in the trailer but eventually was OK with leaving the big ones for me to put in. Charlie also tried to cut some branches with a handsaw. Once we were done Charlie played in and on the van. On the way home from the brush pile Charlie asked to get a car wash (he likes the lights and stuff) and get a Sprite... easy splurge choice while the girls are doing Disney. We also promised Charlie could take a friend to Jump Start (trampoline park) but the weather was so nice he was fine doing it some other time.
Parkour
Charlie was crunched for time to make the 6 second goal so he made a massive leap and skipped a landing pad. The usually reserved coach exclaimed “oh wow, that’s crazy, that’s insane!” Nobody saw that coming! Later I watched the bigger group and no one thought to / tried that move!
